There is no date stamp or other writing on the interior. Also missing are the original snare wires-something old with some wire currently installed. One of the adjustment knobs has been replaced with something that works but is unoriginal while the throw arm is AWOL. The hoops and shell are original and round(Remo ambassadors on now, so you know they're round! The butt mechanism rolls smooth like it was machined last week, but the throw arm and one of the two adjustment knobs of the strainer are missing. more 15 of the 20"lugs" are present and working. This guy has the 8 original air hole grommets which are all nice-n-snug. Leave alone for character or toss in a little elbow grease& paint stripper and away you go! Anyway. Good thing, I s'pose, is that that paint has probably protected the aluminum finish.
